I am going to explain how to connect to a server when you want to play "Age of Empires 2 : The conquerers Expansion" online.

Step 1:
Be sure you have version 1.0C installed. You can only play if all players have the same version installed. You can see this by opening the credits on the AOE2 main page. Launch the game.

Step 2:
Then you click Multiplayer>Internet TCP/IP connection for directplay>Show Games.


Step 3:
A new windows pops up where you can enter the IP adress of the host. In this case Theetaert hosts the game. BE SURE TO USE THE HAMACHI IP ADRESS!! (see below this page how to get the IP adress) Then click OK.


Step 4:
If everything goes well, you will see the name of the player and his servername. Select it, and press "join", then you will enter the server.


How to get the hamachi IP?
Well, it is very simple, be sure you have hamachi installed, if you don't have this program, download it here.
Then you log in into the ClanTBM Hamachi channel, to get the details, contact me (Sonic).
Open the main page and select the player that is acting as server, click the right mouse button and click "Copy IP Adress", then you can paste it in AOE2 with CTRL+V.
