I had the same problem about 1 or 2 years ago, when my best boy-friend began to fight with my best girl-friend.
I said to both: It's your fight, i can understand, why you don't like him / her. But he / she is realy nice to me, so i don't have the problem with him / her. And I said: If someone forces me to choose, if i take the on friend or the other, i will ALWAYS take the other, even if the person is a fucking asshole. Because none of my friends can force me to ignore my friends. And persons who do so, aren't my friends.
Only because your two friends hate each other, there is no reason, why you shouldn't be friends with bots of them.
And: Ask for the reason why they fight!
They want you changing your life but they don't want to tell you why?
That's not fair!
So take both or none (take both, but let them think, you would give up the friendship)
